Validator
Also: validators
A participant in a proof-of-stake network who stakes coins and helps propose and confirm blocks.
On Ethereum, a validator needs 32 ETH to run on its own. Joining and leaving the validator set goes through entry and exit queues that limit how fast stake can move in or out.
