About

Know what’s happening in crypto, and what it means

Get2KnowCrypto is a crypto news and education site for people who are curious about cryptocurrency but don’t live and breathe it. It’s built to help you follow what’s happening and understand what it means. When we cover a story, we show where it came from and link to the original reporting, and our guides explain the ideas behind the headlines in plain English.

We’re not here to sell you a coin. There are no price predictions, no “buy now” buttons and no token promotions. Education comes first.

What’s real here?

The site is being built. Right now:

  • Any news stories shown are demo content, written to test the design. They are not real reporting.
  • Prices and market figures are generated demo data, labelled wherever they appear.
  • Guides, glossary entries and cryptocurrency descriptions are real educational content, still awaiting final editorial review.

How we use other outlets’ reporting

When several outlets report the same event, we group their coverage into a single story. For each report we show the outlet’s name, its headline and a direct link to the original. We show a short excerpt only where that outlet has allowed it. We never copy articles. If you want the full reporting, read it at the source. We link there prominently.

An outlet publishing an RSS feed doesn’t, by itself, give us permission to use its reporting. We review each outlet’s terms, and we add a source only once its terms or a written agreement with the outlet cover how we use it.

Editorial standards

  • Labels you can trust. Our own content is marked as a Report, Analysis, Opinion or Explainer, so you always know whether you’re reading facts, interpretation or a point of view.
  • Facts versus speculation. Explanations separate what is known from what is unclear or speculative.
  • Sources listed. Our articles list what they relied on.
  • AI is a tool, not an author. Where AI helps summarise or explain a story, we say so. AI-generated explanations that haven’t been reviewed by an editor are labelled as such.
  • Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change.

Not financial advice

Nothing on Get2KnowCrypto is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose money. If you’re new, start with our guide to spotting crypto scams.
