Smart contract
Also: smart contracts
A program stored on a blockchain that runs automatically when its conditions are met.
A smart contract is code deployed to a blockchain, where anyone can call it and nobody can quietly change it (unless the code allows upgrades). Contracts power tokens, exchanges and lending. Bugs are the main risk, because transactions usually can’t be reversed.
