Block
A batch of transactions added to a blockchain at one time.
Each block holds a set of transactions, a timestamp and a fingerprint of the previous block, which chains them together. How often blocks arrive depends on the network: about every 10 minutes on Bitcoin, every 12 seconds on Ethereum.
