The Cluj-based company Digitap and FC University of Cluj have announced a partnership that states that starting from the first games of 2022, the students will wear the logo of the crypto-gaming project WAM.
WAM.app, the first “Play to Earn” social media platform, is one of the most successful Romanian projects in the new crypto wave. Wam.app is developed by Digitap, a Romanian company founded in Cluj by the entrepreneurs named Daniel Tamaş and Alex Rus, later joined by Vlad Mustiață, one of the most renowned Romanian programmers, in the role of CTO.
“The project and arguments presented by the president Radu Constantea have convinced us to sponsor FC University of Cluj. Radu Constantea guarantees that things are serious and sustainable. We want this club to join the 1st League as fast as possible, but we understand that before this can happen, they need to have a considerable budget. We are here to contribute to that.” said Alex Rus, Digitap Co-Founder.
“Before we became sponsors, we were supporters of FC University of Cluj, so it was an easy step. We entered this partnership with optimism and the wish to go together on the road to success. We are a global company, but our roots are from Cluj, so we considered it is our duty to support this team that belongs to the Cluj community.” said Daniel Tamaș, Digitap Co-Founder.
“I want to thank Alex Rus and Daniel Tamaș for this partnership. The negotiations started a year ago and we are very happy that this is how they turned out. This club needs dynamic partners like Digitap. Our objective remains the same: to ensure all of the financial conditions so that those that take care of the sport destiny of The University of Cluj can bring good results.” said Mihai Moga, FC University of Cluj Brand Manager.
